In 1863 year the factory was founded by South-Russian association «Black Sea winemaking». Later the factory was being acquired by the family of well-known russian manufacturer Shustov. Firm «N.L.Shustov» posessed a few factories in Russian empire. Shustov produced various kind of drinks: vodka, liqueur, nalivka, balm, and certainly, splendid cognac, many of which obtained the world popularity.
Firstly in Ukraine exactly on the South-Russian association there has began cognac production, and right up till 1941 year enterprise produced high-quality cognacs with own recipe. During the war factory has been destroyed, but in 1947 year the first party of cognac has been produced again.
Now «Odessa cognac factory» - the biggest enterprise of this branch in Ukraine. This is the entire series of recognized leaders of sale quality and volumes:

Arabian cultural center

In the 12th of June 2001 y. the Arabian cultural center was opened. The first guests there were city and region leaders, public figures, and local leaders of three oldest religion - Islam, Christianity and Judaism.

The building was built by the order and finances of one person – 38-years old Adnan Kivan, that was born in Siria, come to Soviet Union in 80 year, and now he lives in Odessa and London. Main architect of center is 25 years old Dmitry Povstanjuk, that win approving responses from his east colleagues for a new technology of patterned Arabic character, that decorate the building.

Educational and enlightening activity of Center contains functioning school, for teaching and Arabian language for all interested people for freeof cost.
